Shawn Cremer is a multi-disciplinary producer, blending the disciplines of textual, rhetorical, visual, and immersive design.
HOW I THINK.
My practice is rooted in a merging of deep research and my strategic intuition. To be human is to be intuitive and I have honed mine through rigorous observation of the cultural landscape and the market. I pay attention not only to what is happening aesthetically and behaviorally in a given trend cycle, but also to the evolution of cultural paradigms.
I suport my intuition with research. In all facets of my practice, I seek to engage with historicity and lineage. I am deeply interested in work that references, pays homage, plays on, and revives.
HOW I WORK.
I begin every project from the end. I achieve concrete goals by working from a high-concept framework that guides all decision-making in a project. By implementing conceptual ‘guiderails,’ I ensure a project’s success.
